Lee Scott joins the T2 team as Planning Director
T2 architects are pleased and excited to announce that Lee Scott has joined the practice to establish a new planning team. Joining as Planning Director, Lee was previously at Savills (formerly Smiths Gore) where he had been a Director managing a team covering Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex. Lee brings with him over 20 years of professional experience, 14 of which have been in consultancy and with previous experience in local government and at CABE, where he worked on improving standards of design achieved through the planning process.
On joining T2, Lee says “I am really looking forward to the opportunity to integrate planning and architecture as part of such a well-regarded existing team. I have known Jeremy and Ross for some time and always admired the award winning work that they and the team do – and I’d like to think that adding planning to their already excellent skill set will help to supercharge everything as we move into a new decade. This is an exciting time for planning and overcoming the various challenges being thrown at us – not least nitrate neutrality in the Solent – will require some creative thinking.”
Jeremy says “We are delighted to welcome Lee to T2, as we can now offer our clients a complete planning and design package, including enhanced planning services such as strategic promotion of sites including SHELAA submissions, planning appeals, and more in-depth advice on complex sites or planning matters. We hope that Lee’s breadth of experience will open up new opportunities for the practice, as well as integrating with our existing work for private clients and developers across new build housing, refurbishments, and historic buildings.”
