A development of 2 dwellings on surplus garden land to the rear of a pair of existing bungalows. The new dwellings have been designed in response to the opportunities and constraints of the site. The 2 bedroom dwelling is single storey and faces west. The 4 bedroom dwelling is orientated south and west around a courtyard garden, this dwelling is part 2 storey with a single storey wing containing the main living space. A line of protected trees form the north boundary and this area is used to conceal car parking. The dwellings have been designed to maintain the privacy of the neighbouring properties.
T2 Architects carried out the design and obtained planning permission for the original property owners who subsequently sold the site. The detailed design and construction was executed by others under the direction of Acorn Design & Project Management.
