The conversion of two existing NHS buildings into student accommodation, in central Winchester, ideally located between the University’s two campuses. As part of the proposals a site-wide master plan was developed. This included the demolition of no.45 and the creation of a new three storey block providing 30 new rooms, as well as creating a new entrance to the site and ground floor communal facilities. The approved scheme provides 30 rooms within the existing buildings, consisting of predominantly 4/5 bed cluster flats with studios on the converted top floor. T2 Architects worked in conjunction with Adams Hendry Planning Consultants to obtain planning consent at committee.
