A development of eleven dwellings on the site of two former houses. The scheme consists of 6no. 2 bedroom, terraced houses and 5no. 4 bedroom, detached houses. The site is bounded by rows of mature beech trees to the front and rear. A palette of high quality materials has been selected which will sit comfortably and weather well within this treed setting. The design and site layout of the dwellings takes into consideration the gentle but significant slope across the site. The layout seeks to create clearly defined landscaped spaces between the dwellings and car parking. A new footpath link through the site into Fulflood improves pedestrian permeability. The scheme was shortlisted for the City of Winchester Trust Design Awards in 2015.
