The scheme consists of two semi-detached dwellings to replace an existing bungalow in Kings Worthy, on the outskirts of Winchester. Each dwelling has three bedrooms and features a large open plan kitchen-living-dining space that opens up onto the garden.

Surrounded by bungalows the new properties have been designed to fit into the existing context with first floor accommodation within the roof spaces. Externally a contemporary palette of materials has been selected. Timber cladding wraps around the ground floor unifying the two houses, with a projecting metal ‘frame’ emphasising the gables, dormer and porches.
