City Road

Following our project at The Parade, City Road adds a second phase to unify these adjoining sites. City Road is a new-build, nine storey student accommodation building creating a mix of studios and small cluster flats providing a total of 109 rooms. The communal ground floor facilities are formed by way of a linked extension to the ground floor facilities within the adjoining site. The façade design takes cues from the offset fenestration of the neighbouring 1960’s tower, and re-interprets this with a subtle and playful offset which plays visual tricks suggesting diminishing proportions.
